What can be done if i am 2 UAI points short of the cut-off (1 Viewer)

i got a uai of 84.35 but a course i want to do in UTS has a cut off 86.30 so i am just under that. is there any way i can stillgetinto the course. please helpout.

B Business/B Computer I bet? No chance, that cut-off will go up.

Make a folio, ring the uni, organise a meeting with the dean of the subject or what ever, if you can't send your folio, keep ringing, just annoy the hell out of them. Theyw ill give in sooner or later.

if not, apply for a smiliar course at the same uni, keep that course as ur 1st pref. but. And transfer after a year or a semester.

Still apply through UAC though. UTS course, especially the lower cut-off ones tend to fluctuate significantly.

It may well go down, 2004 was a "glut" of uni applications because last year of no additional fees, but Business/Computers it getting more popular which is why I believe it will go up. It's my 3rd pref, but I don't even feel confident at all I'll get it with my 86.90 UAI.
