hey everyone
i have my 1/2 yearlies soon-after easter monday
however...
i have Pilonidal sinus

anyway i have to go into hospital on friday
im gonna have an operation
and my exams are coming up soon
what the hell do i do?
do i have to fill in misadventure or whatever
will i still have to do them
im really scared about the operation
never had one before
ive missed out on skool since tuesday and theres still stuff were learning in class which i need 2 know 4 my exams
im gonna be missing out on school before the exam and possibly during the first week of exams
can any1 give me any advice?

I'm sure u''ll get special considerations joe...but get a docs cert...also if ur up 2 it study b4 the op...I've had an op b4 its no big deal - if i can do it u can *hugz*

Once this is all over u will 100% betta ready to take the HSC head on....and i am sure u will have no probs with ur exams...and u will prob get special provisions...just find out from a teacher wat u need to do

can't you call skool or just drop in at lunch time to talk to ur teachers

joe i suggest you go to your doctor now, make hime write an offical notification
Bring it back to school and with your parents to the head teacher stating your situation.This is the HSC man, they take this thing seriously. Hope that helps joe & good luck to your operation

well bitching won't help, even though your disadvantage. just make the use of time you have left & do see the school tommorow

joe just make sure that you keep your school informed of your situation. that way when it comes to the point that you need more time for exams, or get an estimate or whatever, they cant just give you zero saying shyt abt you not informing them.

also dont stress too much abt it. your health will always be more important and therfore should come first. once you get over this you will be able to handle a lot more in the future. just stay cool and calm. freaking out wont do any good for your exams or your health.

i got out of hospital 2day
the operation went ok
im just in heaps of pain
i cant sit down properly. im on an inflatable ring cushion now
i hav 2 sleep on my side 2
neways this week i hav 2 c the doctor heaps
i hav 2 get the stitches cut on saturday
from there ill c how i feel
but im on alot of medication at the moment about 10 alltogther
anyway ill keep u all posted with what happens

they will accomodate you for exams anyway they can
i fractured my foot during the trials last year and they moved them all to the 2nd week
and i got like a special chair and stuff
and for maths exam that i sat with my foot b4 seeing the docter
coz i thought it was just sprained... i realised after awhile that it wasnt
i got a misadventure form and they went on my ranking (which was 1 so that was good)
