just wondering what happens if you are ranked first with an assessment mark of 91 and say that you get a much lower exam mark of around 80? how much does your rank affect your overall hsc mark?

dont you love procrastinating...
umm if you are 1st and get a shocking mark it doesnt matter that much... UNLESS everyone whose up the top also did shockingly... board doesnt look at only the 1st... they look at the 1st few... so unless the 1st 5 didnt do too well it wont affect everyones mark that much...
your mark however will drop considerably depending on how the state goes... my guess.. mid 80s... but only because that HSC exam was alot tougher than usual... atleast thats my opinion...
