You burn in hell!

Nothing really, you fail a subject, big woop. You'll just have to make up for it over summer school/winter school, take an extra subject during the semester ontop of your 24 credit points OR leave it and do a part time semester with one subject.

if it was a core subject, you have to repeat it.
if it was an elective, you can repeat or choose another subject instead.

your GPA will stink, your job prospects in the course u r studying = = 0

in terms of univeristy, nothing will happen, fail the same subjects again next year, and they will give u a warning, fail a 3rd time then they will pretty much boot u out.

^^Further to that, check your degree resolutions for how many permissible you're allowed to fail per semester. I can't seem to find it in this year's handbook, but I vaguely remember something somewhere stating that for my degree, if you fail more than 2 subjects a semester, you'll be asked to show cause or something pretty serious like that.
