Hey, can people who are familiar with this please give some insight on what language each uni focuses on for each course?

USYD comp science?
USYD software engineering?

UTS IT?
UTS ICT (software)?

UWS computer science?

MQU IT?
MQU Software Engineering?

Many languages.
It will greatly vary depending on the electives you choose.

But if you are choosing a uni based on the language they teach, you are doing it wrong. Most languages/skills that are required by the industry are not really taught at uni anyway. You have to rely on self teaching.

what about unsw, best university in all of nsw

usually C in first year

Actually, almost all universities do Java early - if not in first year, it will at least be covered later.

UNSW does C in First year, but Java for first year subjects is the norm now. UTS starts with Java, and I believe so do Usyd, MQ and UWS.
