ok i got a mazda 626 off my mum and it has a chatty sound system and i wanna chuck a new one in but dno anything about car sound systems i want the car to have good surround sounds ne brands that people can mention my budget is maybe around 100 - 200 range

I don't think $200 is enough to fix what the 626 has... My father has one.

Maybe save up a bit longer... you often see special packages for entire sound system upgrades plus install at car shops for around $800-$1k.

For 100-200 your options are severly limited but here they are anyway:

New speakers (probably just two out of the probable four the car has).
A new reciever (cd player).

As a minimum for a complete upgrade (assuming a DIY job, and some bargains on the componenets) I would budget $500.

$100 amp
$100 sub+enclosure
$100 speakers
$150 reciever
$30 wiring

200 bucks eh,

maybe a 150 dollar clarion mp3cd player and get a car freak frnd to hook it up for u.

but who knows, just cruise around parra/bankstown plenty of car stuff around this area lol. avoid doran tho, their website features super expensive stuff.

fuck off, for 800 to 1k she could buy another fucking whole 626.

For 200 bucks the best you can do is new head unit. If you save up another 150 or so you could get a pair of 6x9's.
