What teen movies to choose for my speech? (1 Viewer)

I have to do a speech in a couple of weeks with two teenage films, they have to be from different time periods, but obviously one being a contemporary film, comparing the ways films portray adolescence and experiences across time and place.

I was thinking maybe Grease and Mean Girls or something but i'm not too sure.

Does anyone have any films they think would be good to compare? I'd be happy to hear any suggestions.
