just wondering when you pay HECS upfront, do you pay for the entire course at once or just pay year by year up front?

I believe it is on a semester basis. It would be near impossible otherwise, if for example I am doing a Bachelor of Science, I might pick an elective from arts which is at a different band whether I will or not might be near impossible to tell at the start.

HECS-HELP... The amount is determined with respect to each unit that you take and is paid on a semesterly basis.
