depends on what u want out of it. If you want gaming and multimedia...then RAM, Processor, Video Card, Monitor, Speakers, HDD [yes..HDD matters too]....all of tehm have to be FAST or be BIG [e.g 2 GB RAM..::D]. if u just want to surf the net, once in a while gaming, or just word processing and stuff like that.....almost any comp will do this days.

i like the big tower cases, they look sexy ;) so smaller is not always good. maybe with a laptop
yeh i meant smaller as in chip size and stuff,
you can still have a big case if u want, like u said 'sexy' ones, not those big boxes

but if i wanted to get a new computer now, i would look for huge size hard drive, alot of RAM, a good motherboard, and a hectic graphics card,
the rest like speakers, monitor, keyboard etc (the little things) dont really matter cause you can easily change those
oh yeh and last but not least, $$$, cheaper in price

definitely one of the most handy things you can have on a computer these days
I can't understand why everyone loves these so much, I've got front USB and audio and it seems to be more of a hassle than anything else, the cords regularly come loose and get caught in opening/closing cd drives :) I'd reconnect them to the back ports if I wasn't so lazy.

Yeah that's true, for temporary hardware it's great, I just don't like having things plugged in there long-term :) Maybe I should leave USB at the front and just connect the audio at the back.
