Is a pen and paper really all that is required? Is there a need to bring a binder folder? Or do people usually use their laptops?

I just bring pen and paper, maybe a tablet for PDFs. Depends how you prefer to study.

On your first day just bring ur phone tbh you need to know how to get around campus

And I tell every first yr this yet they still do it, there's no point taking notes from the lecture slides because you can view them at home.
