When I use a quote from my set text in the essay, do I acknowledge who said it and on what page etc?

Yes acknowledge who said it but I dont think it is necessary for Page.

Yeah put a page reference because they r full going to check it in the four minutes they have to mark it. Common sense woman >.<

page reference is not necessary at all, just who said it. Something like "This is clearly illustrated by *this dude* when he says "blah blah blah purple blah". They dont check your quotes or anything, no time.
