im in a situation where :
my Half-Yearly marks are:
Modern History: 58%
Ancient History: 78%
Software Design And Development: 90%
General Maths: 68%
Geography: 86%
Standard English: (F)

I want to drop english and i know i cant.
i enjoys doing all but then im just taking advices now and decide about it towards the end of term 3!

If you enjoy all of them, then it comes down to your marks. You're not doing particularly well in Modern History, so maybe drop that.

yeah i agree.
I actually do VCE lol, but from the names of your subjects, it is clear that you have a number of humanaties style subjects (Geog, Modern and Ancient History), which means that by dropping modern history, you get rid of your lowest marking subject and also a subject in an area where you have some other subjects, so you still keep a wide range which = lots more uni options. Dropping something like maths would limit things much more.

but my teachers are another term of consideration
for Modern History
i got this teacher called:
Mr M.C.M Cunninghame

well what would happen if i keep all 6?
would i become to stress about the projects and stuff?
test and exams doesn't matter much to me!

in yr 11 six subjects is probably fine.
maybe go to the end of the year and then decide whether to keep them all for next year or not...

If you decide to drop a subject, drop the one where you're not doing exceptionally well in based on your rankings and marks, or the one that doesn't interest you as much.

at this stage modern looks like the thing to drop but wait till the end of year 11 and then make your choice.

I think you should drop Modern because of the mark now.. but hey! you could always improve for the yearlies and that might change your opinion of dropping or not. But personally for me, I wouldnt drop any just to be safe. :)

If you want to drop a subject, I say drop Modern History. But in the end, it's up to you. :)

If you really do enjoy all the subjects (except english, but that's unavoidable), then maybe you could keep all six and then decide from there? If halfway into year 12, you decide one of the subjects no longer interests you then you can just drop it

but then that also means you need to try harder in your other subjects, since you've only got ten units there. they'll all count towards your uai. Good luck, though. =)
