I guess this is kind of similar to the 'WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO NEXT YEAR THREAD' (or whatever it's called.) But I was wondering how many BOS'ers have no plans whatsoever to go to Uni.

If you're not going to Uni, what are your plans? Will you still undergo some form of 'further education', (TAFE?) or do you have plans to get straight into a job/industry of choice.

Share your plans! :D

I'd prefer to just start a company and then become rich.

there are many risks involved in starting a company. may end up backfiring and making you bankcrupt.

-just wanted to stuff you up for wasting bos space.
you dont need to make a new thread about not going to uni.
just mention it in one of the other thread.
good for you.
there are plenty of threads for the people who know 'what they want to study at uni'. i think this is a perfectly deserving topic for a new thread.

dw there is still heaps of time.
i would recommend seeing your careers adviser.
are you looking into further study? if you still can't decide by the end of the year i think a gap year may be suitable.

agree with above post. Although partnerships are risky in the business world, wud go it alone.

go ahead if you want. i actually encourage you :) i definitely think it would be cool.
but also note that the majority of businesses fail - i think it was 4/5 idk some statistic i came across from business studies.

why would you want to do that?
that is if you didnt get a high enough uai?
yeah its a good option if you didn't get the UAI that you wanted.

also there are other benifits as well:
- lower fees
- exemption to some of subjects
- a better transition to uni rather than school to uni
