Who's doing a combined degree of arts in international studies? Im doing mine with mech.engineering, and I want to major in germany but I'm doing as much research as I can now about the cost of living. But is it possible to work with a student visa? or can I upgrade my visa if the one my uni makes for me isn't enough? Otherwise If I can't I'm gona have to make some friends in germany so I can get a free place .

My understanding is that you cannot work whilst on a student visa in most countries, unless it's under 20 hours and endorsed by your institution/university.

I'm doing the same thing engineering/ arts - international studies

yeah on a student visa you can only work 20 hrs a week

excluding holidays

but right now I'm working part time and trying to save as much as I can so I can support myself while I'm on exchange
