this is what will turn the tide against microslut. all the ppl who are computer savvy enuff will turn to linux and all the ppl who need someone to hold their hand will stay with windoze. eventually in the far future windoze will polly be obsolete becoz of microsluts greedyness.

It's a stable OS for HDD under 20GB.

Anything over, and it starts slowing down.

haha a few hrs win after xp was released crackers alreadi got the "corporate" key and released it

now microsoft in their last service pack (Sp1 i think?) checked ppl with that key

and supposedly millions of ppl got detected

just proves to show how many ppl actually bother to pay for software

not that i would know anything about it ...

the key and copy that was made available on the day it was released had been to the manufacturers. there are plenty of pics and articles on the web (and at microsoft's website) on the launch of windows xp with fancy helicopters, 6 briefcases for the 6 oems (dell, hp, compaq, ibm, gateway, sony) -- that was the EXACT same copy from devils0wn (byte for byte), since they were all VLM's (volume licensing media), and required VLKs (volume licensing keys) -- the one which had spread all over the net had been the dell key (from dell ;))

i'll be good...
