well this is the exact equivalent for windows XP, really fast.

finally i do not need OSX

nah, it doesn't chew up resources. i just set the winplosion to one of my mouse buttons and i have no more need for task bar.

Actually I must admit I'm sort of impressed, I can see this being quite useful on my laptop in particular, where screen real-estate does tend to get a bit hard to manage from time to time. Thanks for the heads up

This has been around for ages, furthermore, it does not mimic 100% of what MacOS can achieve, just a side note, it's called Exposé, this feature in Mac OS.

Just wanted to add, i anticipated to make Exposé as well, but just didnt' have time, i don't exactly think with the ability of animation rendering under windows we will be able to achieve it directly, the author of WinPlosion seems to have implemented it how i would, i.e. grabbing handles of all windows opened, then screenshoting them, link the handles up with the image containers, do some calculation to randomly plot the screenshots on transparent form, i don't think it's even transparent actually, i think it just grabs the wallpaper and uses that as the background of the form, and that's it and show the form in Full Screen.

Only thing I'm not impressed with too much so far is the spastic window effect when you hit show desktop. Everything flickers back where it was originally for a frame or two, then shows desktop. Might just be a peculiarity at my end though I guess, who knows

another REALLY cool tweak you might wanna try is Sphere XP

As long as you know the controls on how to use it, its really easy to use - and great to show off to your friends. I got a whole heap of kids at school hooked on it, and although they only use it to muck arround - its a great tool if your a really big multitasker - but its got some improvements to make.
It also works in Win2k, not just XP - but I havent tried it on anything below Win2k SP4.

That's fine except it tends to hide a lot of stay-on-top desktop applications which I'd prefer it didn't

On my last computer my millions of tweaks made it slow and full of spyware and etc so i have decided on a no-xtras policy. It keeps the system clean and saves resources. Better clean than with many "helpers".

problem with windows XP is the basics ain't good enough, which is why microsoft released Powertoys....
