If i defer a main round offer, what happens if I get a late round offer which I prefer but also want to defer and get instead of the main round offer, is the main round automatically forfeit?

Also, can I accept an offer and then chose to defer it in say a months time before the start of uni? Or do I have 7 days til my option to defer disappears as so does the offer itself?

From memory you have until your offer runs out for you to decide to accept/decline, which I think is just before the next round or something like that. When I deferred I had to accept and then select an option to defer it.

Check with/ring UAC and the uni and see what they allow etc.

Why would your main round automatically forfeit?

Unless there is something I don't understand.. are you saying you will withdraw your main round offer so that you can accept your late round offer?

accept the main round offer and then apply for late round offer.
if you get the late round offer and want to accept it, then reject the
main round offer,
it is too risky not to accept the main round offer coz there is nothing
you can do if you don't get late round offer.

Is deferring allowed just for a month or few?
'Cause I thought deferring is only allowed when you're going to take the
whole year off..

Accept the offer for now, and deal with deferral with the university. :)
At least that's what I was told to do, so I can travel with my friends to Europe. :music:

Sorry, that was what I meant but, I read somewhere that you can't only take a month or two; you have to take the whole year off if you do deferring and start your study next year.
