hi
has anyone taken part in one of these umat training courses like face2face, medentry etc?
people say that you cant study for umat, but did you find it useful, and does it really help you with your umat or is it all just a scam?
and if it is useful which one do you think is the best course to enroll in?
and also is doing just the practice papers enough to get a good score?

thanks

Hey it really depends on 'the person' and which section you struggle at. Skills to improve section 3 performance can be learnt from practice and rote learning by doing mensa, iq, puzzle books, etc.

Practice exams give you a good idea of whats expected, they teach you how to pace yourself for the exam, etc.

Some prep courses which we won't mention have come under intense scrutnity since they have been a bit unscrupulous.

Medentry is one of the most popular courses, however all the content exept for the two day workshop is completely online and unprintable.

Again with your final question, many students have found practice papers/prep courses to be beneficial however, it really depends on the student/individual again.
