Re: 2009 Macquarie Uni Offers

Yeah you enrol in both i think. When you click on a unit it'll say when its offered (eg. D1, D2, E1, E2) where D1= Day, semester 1 or E2= Evening semester 2.

I have onnneee more question and then i think i've figured everything out! Do people usually do 3 or 4 subjects a semester? i did 4 at my old uni but i swear my friend only did 3 once at mq.
Im pretty sure its personal preference, some people do 3, some do 4, it depends on how much work they think they can handle.

Re: 2009 Macquarie Uni Offers

Most people doing BCom choose the following subjects - acst101, econ110, stat170 and accg100. So for example ECON110 has pre-req of (Admission to BAppFin or BBA or BCom or BEc or GDipEd) or GPA of 2.0 with 12cp which you meet since you got into BCom.

Also most people do around 12 credit points per sem, so if all your subjects are 3 credit points you'll do 4 subjects. But if you have one or two worth 4 credit points you might just do 3 subjects.

If you guys are still confused go talk to someone at uni because you don't want to do the wrong subjects now and have it cost you a semester or two later on.

yea P = pass. If it just had ACST101 (note without the P) then you could get a PC (= pass conceeded, that's a mark between 45 and 49) and still meet the requirement.

Re: 2009 Macquarie Uni Offers

It really depends on what the uni thinks. I assume you have applied appropriately? Macquarie University - Undergraduate Studies
Well i have the form and i was going to hand it in on the 2nd of Feb since i'll be there anyway. it says to hand it in by the 4th.

Is there anyone i can email to check if i can get credit for these subjects before i hand in my form?
