I wore my vans until not only did they have holes in the toes but the outter layer of canvas had come off. That isn't my best effort though. I have a pair of Royal elastics that I got in 2003. They started off as my "going out" shoes, but now I wear them in the garden. I honestly do not understand how they are still wearable at all considering I've worn them hiking for days at a time, on several occasions, as well as just generally abusing them.

trying to save up. my friend showed me his pair and they are pretty nice, although they were just plain white court lows, it felt a little too ridiculous really.

if i do end up getting some, probably an achilles midtop. i don't really want to drop $500 on shoes either. i might wait till revolve has a sale and i could probably get them for $200ish.
