what sort of laptop doesn't come with a network card these days?

the first laptop we got is about 797MHz (yes, megahertz) single core, 512mb ram, 40gig harddrive, and an actual graphics card (nvidia some go series wih 32mb memory).

no wireless.

Long, long time ago the first laptop we had was a Toshiba with Windows 3.1 and monochrome display, a few weeks later I stamped on it for the lulz.

it's got wireless, but doesn't have like WAP or something in the settings

I know my friends laptop is lacking wpa support too, I tried to set it up for uniwide but it only had wep support.

But now that i realise how much people hate it im starting to think of going to UQ... but im not sure..
What does UNSW have a good rep for?? does anybody no??

UNSW has a nice sized campus is know for good research, etc.
Various kinds of people, not just asians...
Stairs for that simple 30 minute walking exercise.
