What are you guys aiming for in terms of procrastination level during holiday and afterwards?

I am aiming to get my procrastion level to 90% to 5% going out and 5% sleep ratio during holiday. What are your plans?

And what are the tips to reduce procrastination?

I have got just one tip which is the most effective one for me:
  1. I have a very good picture of a cartoon on my comp with some girl and tonnes of papers saying "Procrastination, the longer you wait, the worse it gets" or something like that.

I swear loudly and smack the table/whatever i'm sitting on/near.

It's sounds ridicolous but it actually works for some reaason.

My only form of going out will be to the library or to the movies to watch the new Dragonball movie... the rest will be procratination and sleep 5%

I remember spending first week of the holiday recharging from half yrlies, and the next week "trying" to study.
April holiday is still early though, there's no point rushing yourselves, if you are like me than you probably forget everything you studied for in this holiday. Enjoy the fun while it last since this will be your last true holiday, the next holiday you guys will be studying for your trials.

Sigh~~ i envy namu, getting to enjoy the pleasure of HSC twice><

Isn't namu an accelerated student in math? I thought he did the HSC last yr for math only.

But you are doing it as a glorious thing, you are an accelerated student with superior intellect, and you get to spread out the subjects for 2 yrs so less stress, it's the most awesome thing ever!!

One of my teachers said that you shouldnt waste time planning and thinking about whatever task your doing, just do it - research shows that once you get started on a task, your perceptions on the task change and you can end up actually enjoying doing the task...

Apparantly even doing a little bit of progress on the tasks at hand will boost your well being and it will boost your motivation to work in the long run...

If you're the queen of Procrastination. I highly doubt your habits are gonna change. That's like me, I said i'd work this yr but i cbf, instead i cram. :)

but you gotta admit, the art of cramming is exhilarating... all those late nights hooked up on coffee/V/mother/etc. it does become memorable afterwoods :)
