[Finding the tan function of both sides]I'm having trouble with this question from fitzpatrick:
Prove that:
tan^-1 (4) - tan^-1 (0.6) = 45 degrees
Lol, it's not really a multiplication by tan, it's taking the tan of both sides xD[Times both sides by tan]
tan(tan^-1(4)-tan^-1(0.6))=tan45
LHS=(4-0.6/1+4(0.6))
=(3.4/3.4)=1
RHS=1
therefore LHS=RHS
hahaha yer, i knew someone would pull me up on that lol i cbb changing it...ok ok i will haha XDLol, it's not really a multiplication by tan, it's taking the tan of both sides xD
