yes you get an award.Ok, basically i've been told by a few mates that when someone achieves a band 6 in 10u of study they recieve a premier's award...
Is this true?
and what the award called?
Cheers
it's really over-rated really along with getting a state rank.mmm, yea just 'okay'? I'm quite sure that getting all band sixes would be quite prestigious for many students.
yeh but wouldn't the people that achieve all round band 6's get an extremely high UAI anyway?it's really over-rated really along with getting a state rank.
I reckon getting higher UAI is a better award itself.
That would depend on what you consider a high UAI.yeh but wouldn't the people that achieve all round band 6's get an extremely high UAI anyway?
Getting a premiers award or a State Rank will be celebrated at my school. Only one girl has ever done so (2 or 3 state ranks, all rounder and premiers award). She got a UAI of 99.2 and put my school into the top 200 for one year ... this was a freak event lol.it's really over-rated really along with getting a state rank.

With low scaled subjects, possibly. But if you had subjects like 4u maths, chem, phys, adv. english and scored 89 for each, that can be a lot higher than the low scaled subjects.yeh but wouldn't the people that achieve all round band 6's get an extremely high UAI anyway?
*Looks at Exhaust's signature for subjects*. Yep, yep... oh, got that one too. XD Say all the best scaling ones which you do too ^_^ It's very true though. With low scaled subjects, possibly. But if you had subjects like 4u maths, chem, phys, adv. english and scored 89 for each, that can be a lot higher than the low scaled subjects.

Yes. I think so...Just wonder , if you do 90 in 10 units, but not in english can you still get a premier's award?
