I feel for Jelena. I imagine it's never easy to keep the ball rolling when you're on a comeback trail. She hasn't been performing at her best level, but I was so proud of her at the French Open when she was on the brink of beating Elena Dementieva. Here's hoping she can keep going and get consistent.
Samantha didn't play the best match yesterday. It should have been an easy put-away but she almost lost it. Come to think, the first round match wasn't the best either. Both should have been easy, both went to 3 sets.. A bit disappointing. Hope this hasn't been brought on by the change of coaches - Stosur says it won't affect her game, but she hasn't been producing French Open material. C'mon Sam, LIFT!!
One handed back-hands are cool - they don't have as much power but the reaction time it saves helps players. I think it also opens up angles too. But I like the 2-hander more.
I think Andy Roddick managed to serve up over 100 aces in a AO match against Keifer at some point in the past...
