So, I've made the decision to exclusively date to marry.
So no casual relationships, no 'fun fun' times.

anyway, let me know if you fit my criteria. (or most of it)
I'm not looking to go 'hey asl' to whoever does,
but I just want an idea of how many there actually are.
you can reply if you fit at least 3 of them.

anyway, here it is:

you are:

a female. (although i'm interested in how many guys i share interests with)

a non smoker
non drinker (you don't drink to get drunk. you might have one or two standard drinks, but rarely)
don't take illicit drugs
believe in abstinence, and marriage being a life-long thing.

Don't like rap/gangsta rap/trance/electronica.
now when i say don't like,i mean the literally don't like.
you don't not like it, nor do you like it.
so it's 'meh' to you.

Don't really care about designer labels.
you realise that the original desiners for chanel, gucci, versace, etc are all dead and are just run for profit by asian buisnessmen

not into hollywood gossip.
into philanthorphy.
you can play an instrument, preferably piano or violin.

re: designer brands. Giorgio Armani is still hanging round the traps, are his wears still acceptable?

why are some bits fairly general, yet some ultra specific?

the picky parts almost remind me of...

mmm only a few of them are still alive.
It's all a big marketting thing.

only thing i like is ralph Lauren polo button ups, polos, and sweaters.
pretty much because they were designed by the man himself.

now when you think about all those fashion labels with the designers bringing out new stuff every season even though the designer is dead, you begin to wonder..

Well good on you for your self-proclaimed greatness.

As for the disgracing,
I don't see why I have, because i was never in the scene.
Now if i were, and i left, then i would of disgraced.

either way,
you are pretty ignorant.

haha that's great!.

Well i guess if it were all too specific, then it'll be too hard.
whereas the general bits are okay for a compromise?

I don't hate it,
I just don't like it.
as in I don't have an opinion about it.

I hate gangsta rap though.

yeah dont get too specific, otherwise youll probably end up passing up girls that would be great for you

just stick to the basics.
mmm true that.

but if you have lots of specifics,
then that means when you do meet a girl that has those,
it means she's the one ;).

I don't think a life-long partner can be compromised. (Well at least in the big points)

you speak the truth.
i wondered something similar when i was in the car with my cousin. she and my mother were discussing excitedly the louis vuitton bag my cousin just bought. i reckon once a brand is 'a brand', it markets itself, requiring less and less effort on the company's part to actually maintain quality.

what was apparently worth almost $3000 to her, was just a bag to me. and a weird looking one at that.

i noticed the same thing buying a cologne for my dad some time ago.
the big names release new ones, which just don't smell especially good.

then you try a fairly unknown name brand.. and it smells great.. because they can't rely on the plastic lettering on the outside of the packet to override whats inside it.

haha that's great!.

haha don't worry you don't need to.

as david lucas' character says..

"i'll just wait then" - *stands still, looking expectant*

haha that's quite funny actually, seeing as how i'm not a virgin
then i dont understand why you think you'll be able to maintain abstinence in a relationship knowing that this is the last person you'll be with

at least fuck them and see if they're shit in bed

1) Why would you be interested in other guys who share the same interests in women as you? It's never been something that most guys have ever bonded over?

2) So you believe in marrying someone for life and not having sex with them...

3) Fair call about the designer labels though. Can't justify paying so much money for a simple piece of clothing or fashion accessory.

Seriously, though....

I fit all but 3 things. I'm not a female, not into philanthropy and I can't play any instrument terribly well.

i assume you are of some religious persuasion.

surely if you yourself are not a virgin, yet you still see abstinence as important, could you not understand a potential partner who wasn't a virgin, yet 'wishes they were' or at least holds a similar high regard of abstinence?

i'll explain the abstinence thing.

I'm sure most of you won't agree with me,
but to me i make sense.

the reason why marriages break down so far these days, is because the two parties (husband, wife) aren't willing to put in the effort.

marriages arn't an easy thing to do.

now when you think that sex is just for fun, and not something that should be kept within the confines of marriage, that will.. break the moral fibre.

and when the average person today thinks 3 dates, sex = normal,
then really, what can they say about marriage?

besides.
sex was saved for marriage (at least it was expected to.. even though it wasn't really) 'back in the day'.
now when you think that you can just go to the local bar and pickup a bar whore,
that'll just lessen the moral fibre.

+

if i don't have sex before marriage with a girl, i know that i don't 'love her' because of how she makes me feel, or what she does for me sexually.

2) sorry, perhaps i should of been clear. i meant abstinence until marriage.
3) yeahhh. especially when the thing costing $3000 was made in some developing country, where the person was paid maybe $3.
