lol got a 60 in an english subject in which I handed the 40% major essay in 15 days late and only did two out of three essays in the exam. Booyah, I'm amazing.

Um. No? They're the wrong way around plz, English department.

v. unhappy with the 2660 mark. v unhappy indeed. It's like I put some thought and work into the 2660 one and ended up with a higher mark in the one where I fudged through my exam with a load of rubbish. But I'm getting better marks than I predicted atm, so yay.

Oh well credits ain't bad. But thank gawd I'm finished with English for a semester or two though.

It's called "Arts". I'm surprised you didn't get a High Distinction.

Funnily enough the only result I haven't got is from the unit I finished 3 weeks before exams began.

ELEC 3404 Electronic Circuit Design 61.0 Pass
ELEC 3610 E-Business Analysis and Design 78.0 Distinction
INFO 3402 Management of IT Projects and Systems 76.0 Distinction
ISYS 3401 Analytical Methods & Information Systems 71.0 Credit
ELEC 4702 Practical Experience Incomplete

Well funnily enough, results DID come back on a saturday. A bit disappointed with my ELEC subjects. Means in the final exams i scored about 70% in one (ELEC3610) and just under 50% for the other (ELEC3404). I'm sure i aced the ELEC3610 exam and i guess they didn't mark the ELEC3404 exam as easily as i thought, aw well.

On the positive side, probably the best results i've had at uni so far (well in terms of averages, i did score a mid 80's mark before, but everything else that semester were passes).

3 semesters to go!

Congratulations, those marks are phenomenal. You'll often find that even in semesters where you put the hard yards in x10 it's still the subjects you spend the least time on and attend the least classes for where you get the best marks. Anything above 80 shouldn't be bitched about :)

MATH2961 Linear Mathematics & Vector Calculus Adv 73.0 Credit

I'll take those pretty happily given how lazy I was this semester. Maths especially, since I was expecting to scrape a pass
Told you maths scaled up.

Goony: Nice work on the Ds. With practical experience should I enrol in it now because I've got my internship confirmed or is it just a "Go and see your year adviser with your reports when you're done" deal?

Marinatos, nice work, looks like you might make the dean's list with those marks.

WAF: Thanks mate, yeah for practical experience you can do it whenever you want. If you don't complete it within the semester it'll show up as "incomplete" on your marks list. Wait out for a bit though, apparently they're updating the webpage as to what you have to do.

My friend wrote up his practical experience last summer, enrolled in the subject this semester and submitted his stuff with no troubles. I got another friend going overseas next semester who enrolled in practical experience last semester but is going to submit his report just before he leaves in august or after he returns.

credit average, could've done better. averaged 60% in the math subjects so 1003 and 1005 are going to suck.
