some of my units aren't working on blackboard, is this because the unit webpages are being updated? and how long should it take for new units to be added?

I'm wondering the same thing..since I changed my subjects at the last minute I need it to be 'refreshed' or something .

Dont stress, i enrolled in all my subjects from the begining of the year, and only 2 of my sem 2 subjects are on BB (out of 4 that should be).

Don't worry about it - it often happens; the lecturer hasn't activated it, is waiting to open it, or hasn't added people yet. Also remember that some subjects don't even have Blackboard.

If your unit has Blackboard, and you're not added by the end of the first week, send your convener an email.

I contacted a unit convenor about this last year and they assured me not to worry until the course had actually started (i.e. in the first week of the semester). If it still hasn't appeared next week, then contact them, but don't do it before as they get tetchy about you being impatient!

yeah i assumed it was just 'inactive' during the holidays since new units usually appeared within a few days when i added them during last semester

gah i wish they'd update though, would be really helpful to see the unit guides so i can decide units already lol

AHST101, ENGL107, EUL101, EUL201, HIST114, HIST243, HIST253, HIST270, PHIL134, POL167, POL168 and POL264

at the moment i'm enrolled in HIST270 and EUL101
but if you can shed any light of any of those units that would be great

2/4 subjects are up there, but I can only access one. When I click on the other, it says "Your access to this course has been denied".

AHST101, myth in the ancient world is a pretty fun subject, I enjoyed it immensely. I think it follows the usual 2 major essays and an exam format of AHST units, but highly recommend.

PHIL134 is quite good if you've never done any logic stuff before, it really helps with writing up essays, setting up arguments, etc so it has its uses outside of the course.

HIST243 I don't know who they're going to get to cover that, since Marnie is leaving, I want to do it as well but I'm hesitant depending on who takes it.

HIST114 I might see you in there, friend is trying to convince me to do it, but I don't know if I can fit it into my schedule.

I'm doing EUL101 too and it hasn't showed up yet either, also STAT170 has never showed up, even though I've been enrolled since Sem 1, but I thought it might not have a blackboard... does it?

mines only showing 2/4 for sem2, sem 1 units are still there (I assume they will be deleted soon)
