I've JUST broken up with this guy i went out with for almost 6 months
I am NOT over him, and neither is he with me
it's just i felt like things were getting too difficult and he was really serious about the whole "together forever" thing.
a week or so later, another friend of mine, starts to like me and told my bestie he likes me ALOT. (he just got dumped a week after i dumped my ex)
i like him too. but im afraid of the reprecussions. my ex might do something suicidal (he already tried like twice sice we broke up)
and/or hurt this new guy.
guy #2 and i are heaps close and we helped each other through our relationship ordeals but he might be on the rebound although he claims he isnt coz hes liked me for over 2 weeks

I just wanna get my hsc years over and done with and just have fun
BUT my feelings are always screwing me over.
I HAVENT BEEN SINGLE SINCE AUGUST LAST YEAR!!

and can i be classified as being on the rebound? can he?
AND WHY CAN'T I HAVE GUY FRIENDS WHO DON'T BECOME INFATUATED WITH ME??

hmm, well its hard to say, but if it was 6 months ago, can it be rebound??
also who do you like more, this guy or your ex?
2 weeks isnt that long really, maybe see how he goes after a little while

maybe wait til after exams

correction to my post.
I was going out with him FOR 6 months.
I only broke up with him 3 weeks ago

and yeah thats sounds good, wait til everything has settled down

ahh, well then yes, give yourself time for both of you to sort out your feelings. Its going to be hard, and feel like crap, but if you wait itll hopefully be worth it.

Anyway...back to your dilemma. I say don't get into yourself into ANY relationships whatsoever. Just because somebody likes you, it doesn't mean you have to jump in a r'ship.

Plus, you claim the other guy is suicidal (what a douche)...it is a precarious situation, so lettuce be patient or you'll end up writing an eulogy sometime soon, yeah?
