Really? I thought it depended on the state performance. It's around 80% raw, so ~96/120
I disagree with Anna.It's around 80% raw, so ~96/120
96? I always thought it was around 75~
I mean, according to raw marks from previous years, the band E4 cutoff for 3u was around 70%
Now, since the tests don't range in difficulty too much, it's safe to assume that this year's band cutoff will be similar
I think you'd agree with me that 4u is infinitesimally harder than 3u, yes? So maybe the band E4 cutoff for 4u is 65% (that's still a very generous approximation imo)
If it was 65%, then the cutoff would be 78/120
So if you were to get 80/120, then you'd be guaranteed to get a band E4 not a guarantee
Don't forget that the band cutoffs fluctuate from year to year
@ jchoi: HSC mark is not relative, that is to say technically the entire state can get a band E4 provided they got the marks.
If you got 96 I wear you'd be looking at 96 final HSC Mark. I'd reckon ~75 is a band 6. If you get 90 you're definitely mid Band 6.
Oh sorry, I should not be up that late doing work lololololololI disagree with Anna.
Of course it varies from year to year, but 96 is still way too high.
But my cousin who did it last year said he got low 90s/120 and ended up with a 94 XDI hear 85-90/120 is e4 for ext 2. Thats what my teachers and my friends from previous years said. my friend who did ext 2 last year reckons he got about 90/120 and got 92 HSC mark.
Oh sorry, I should not be up that late doing work lolololololol
96/120 = mid band 6 which i'm aiming for and put instead of what the OP was asking for. I guess i'm thinking too much about it >.>
75/120 = low E4, as the other have said XD
Yea Anna just needs to get more sleep these days.ummmm there's band 6 for extention topics? Pretty sure BOS ranges E1~4.
