You needed to sum the chord length with the sector length.weren't they trying to trick you with the wording? wasn't it l=rtheta? and that would be the perimeter of AB?

yeah. the 'perimeter of the MINOR SEGMENT' is the perimeter around the segment itself. not just the arc length. so yeah they were but corey has it rightYou needed to sum the arc length with the chord length.
Except the HSC didn't exist in 1921...wow... what can i say.. what the hell is wrong with all of you? that exam was easy.. by far the easiest exam in the past 5 years... i have done every past paper from 1921 onwards and this was easy peasy... Q10 was a joke, finished it in 5 minutes... why did everyone think it was so hard? 115+/120 for sure i love math
Btw, who the fuck forgets where they park there car 5days in a row?
I really hope you are right, but 95/120 for 2unit, cmon dude thats ridiculous. Anyways how did you find out what the raw cut off was ? Most of the markers dont know that - our teachers do their best to estimate it.Last year the band 6 cut off was 95/120 and that was a much easier test
i got the 2in2 part at least and some other number lol i only figured out the other bit right at the endthere were questions that were tricky... but overall i liked the exam
did anyone get 5/12 - 2ln2 for the last part of Q10
Oh crap!!!! oh well lost a markYou needed to sum the chord length with the sector length.
WTF, how could u do ext 2 and Mathematics at the same time, r u a troll or what.I think I'm going to end up with a raw mark of around 106-110, which I'm very disappointed about... but oh well - it's done and dusted + the other kids will drag me down since I didn't top internals.
Ext,1 tomorrow ^_^
Actually, the answer was 216/216 - 125/216 = 91/216. 125/216 is the probability of them not winning at all during the 3 weeks. If that equals 125/216 I will be incredibly happy - there's a bonus 2 marks I didnt think I'd get!
..87/120 ftw
Guys for the limiting height of the true did you use limiting sum.
I was like wtf cuz i got an answer of 12. And im like wtf the a value is 1.2?
OMFG it is 0 WTF is wrong with meeee.
Oh no... i did the same thing! I was wondering... r was 1.9 and that doesnt fit in with limiting sum. damn .
Which School is that, let me guess some where close to where you could get pho' that's close to my school as well lolz, which school which school?it was an alright test for my cohort and when i asked around they said they did relatively well... overall it wasn't too bad of a test
accelerated mathsWTF, how could u do ext 2 and Mathematics at the same time, r u a troll or what.
spot onActually, the answer was 216/216 - 125/216 = 91/216. 125/216 is the probability of them not winning at all during the 3 weeks.
