Hi ! I recently decided to do a critical response, so let me know what you think..
At the moment I am thinking of exploring the effects of pop-culture and values upon post-war literature from the generations of Builders to Generation Y (ie including builders, baby boomers, gen x, gen y and how these generations and their influences affected the writing of the periods) but am not sure if this is something that would be recieved well, if its too uncreative or just too boring, which it seems to be after looking at everyone elses!
Please give feedback!
Claudz3, I'm impressed by your subject choice, and how interesting it is. I feel like going off and researching cannabalism now, just for interest (which I suppose re-iterates your thesis.) Well-written also, but I see what you mean about wandering off. It seems to present more of a history of cannabalism, rather than a literary analysis of it, so maybe you could try focus more on specific texts regarding cannabalism, like you mentioned in an earlier post, but obviously you havent finished yet so maybe thts what your planning. I liked what you did with Wrong Turn, but i would have been more interested if you expanded upon it a little more, included more textual references etc. Just because, looking at showcase, the ones with the detailed literary analysis' seemed to get good marks. Although you said you haven't gone it to them yet, so maybe that's why i feel like it's missing the textual analysis.
But over-all, if i was a marker i'd be interested and good writing =)
Hope i've been a little bit of help
