Re: Hsc 2009 bio exam

what did people put for Q9- abot o2 and co2 travelling through the lungs and muscles? i put B

What did people get for Q15- the infection? i was tossing up with b or d
15 cant have been B, if species 1 is a fungi, it cant be killed by antibiotics because antibiotics only affect bacteria, I think D was the only correct answer

Re: Bio Exam ?

Only actual problem I had was with Question 13 for sounding so hucking stupid.
And the fact I spent 3 hours last night trying to memorise all the pracs.
Bahaha. BL i did the same, though not 3 hours of just pracs in one night :S

Re: Hsc 2009 bio exam

So happy about the big mark questions; 5 mark on hygiene was easy, 6 mark I had studies the day before in detail, 7 mark for Communication was my assignment and the 8 mark I had studied in the morning and filled up two pages :D

Re: Hsc 2009 bio exam

best answer for 9 wud be C cus CO2 mostly dissolved in blood plasma

as in 15 it's D i think lols

DUDE WHAT WAS NUMBER 1 ZSZZZZZZ
I thought about it like this. As muscle cells undergo respiration they produce CO2 obviously yes?, When oxygen is delivered to these cells for respiration, the excess CO2 is carried away. The co2 is acidic and thus changes the pH of that particular area of blood, this changes the shape of the haemoglobin molecule so that it releases the oxygen and allows the co2 to bind to the haemoglobin.
