I think it was only 1 mark, and you probably answered it because I'm pretty sure it had lines to write the answer on - like the space for the pedigree, and then the explanation thing was a separate question beneath.

It was worth 3 marks not 1, assessing the validity of the student's claim that the inheritance pattern was that of sex-linkage.
