they tend to have decreased awareness about the risk factors and therefore reduced ability to prevent and treat it. they are also more likely to smoke around and be pregnant while having a baby which results in asthma

this is not related to multiple choice... but does anyone no whether we were just meant to relate to the ottawa charter for the question about the new public health approach? I metioned socio-cultural factors, empowerment of communities and that... and i refered to the ottawa charter in about 2 sentences=/ Is that still alright?

I don't think you need to talk about OC. And I think New health approach involves empowering individuals, community participation and social determinants. You also needed to talk about one specific priority area. I almost missed it.

I have a question!!! Question 5.... i thought it would be building healthy public policy and reorienting health services... cos it is a preventative measure it doesn't really define who it is CSE for.. .. so please explain why it is d!

Well think about it. Banning smoking in these areas means that you are not smoking and thus the hotel and clubs are helping you by banning you from smoking.

Fairly sure CANCER IS INCREASING. More people are getting checkups and it is becoming more aware so thus the rates are increasing

the question asked for mortality rates. incidence is increasing due to screening and awareness yes, but this is impacting positively on the mortality rates.

its nothing to do with reorienting services that i can see, i said D- creating supportive environments because it is supporting the other people in these public places since they don't have to suffer passive smoking due to the smokers there
