You're obviously a liar. We all know the Head Marker has a son and not a daughter.
Talk about making stuff up.
The head marker maybe! But I am talking about the head marker's sister. The one with the beehive haircut and the horse-like teeth.
Her daughter is a piano prodigy and trained her cat how to talk.
My mum's friend taught her how to play piano.

GOD. This is RIDICULOUS.

People that wrote about two related texts deserve to have capped marks, for sheer stupidity. They did NOT answer the question, they IGNORED the question. This is NOT OKAY. This is rewarding people, who now have more sophisticated essays, who just carried on with whatever they had prepared, disregarding the actual directive and then whining to their tutors and spineless teachers/parents that 'waaaaah, they changed it from past papers, waah'.

How did this happen? Who backed down? Who allowed the question through if it would cause this much controversy? Who the hell raised, taught and validated the MORONS who write about more than one related texts and then had the TEMERITY to complain.

GAAAAAAAAAAH.

yeah, thats true, because I AM the head marker's son, and only child.
My dad told me that we're all going to have to resit the paper, since what happenned was that the cleaner changed the exam wording, it was meant to say AT LEAST ONE, but it was too late and they had printed off 60 000 copies of the paper already, and didn't have enough paper to print off a fixed copy. Then there was massive argument between my dad and the other board of studies people about whether to keep the question or change it to what it suppoed to be. In the end, we decided to mail each school, telling the supervisors to inform the students of the change.
But the mail got delayed, as the printer had a paper jam and no one could fix it. We still thought it would make it on time, but all the mail got sent to our house instead, for some reason.

Haha I'm just messing around. I understand where you're coming from and I agree with you.

Who said anything about Markers?

We all know that the Board of Studies is actually a gigantic machine that just generates random numbers.

Has anyone else wondered why only some of the exams are out of a hundred? And the rest are just arbitary?

Thats why, because the machine says so, its the bastard cousin of Deep Thought. (That was an allusion:bomb:

Hmmm, maybe the Herald will realise that I am the Head of the BoS, and they will write an article about this post. Yeah, that's right reporters, I'm talking to you.

ok i didnt really bother to read through all 24 pages but are we all agreeing that even if this "claim" was true, chaldoking is only stating that those who wrote 2 supp texts wont have marks reducted, but just only have one supp text considered?

in which case im quite happy cause those of us who BOTHERED to execute our skills of english comprehension for an english examination get something for our trouble :)

That's absolutely the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
How the hell can they mark them equally when people were sitting there going "shit.... i have no idea whatsoever how the hell I'm supposed to elongate them both so much!!!"
That is soooooooooooooo not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why should they be treated practically better for not even bothering/ being able to read the stupid question properly???????????????

I'm sure it's been said before but - technically the people that only wrote one text are at an advantage because they would have written a more indepth answer. I am one of the 'retards' ,'dumbass'' ,'idiots' ,'dickheads' and/or 'sluts' that infact wrote two related texts. No matter if they both get marked, or only one gets marked, the people that only wrote ONE like the question asked, will get better marks if they did infact write an indepth response. And for the record, I know it only said ONE but to be honest I wasn't completely happy with my text so I wrote another thinking it would save me but I didn't think about the fact it would actually prevent me from reaching a band six answer. Probably not my finest of hours but I still don't think I am a slut-retard.

Also, the only people that should feel threatened by the choice to mark both related texts are the people that didn't write an indepth answer and as a result now have something to blame their marks on.

All this crap could easily have been avoided by simply putting in "at least one..." just as they have done every other year. But nooooooo. It wasn't enough that we were the first year to do this stupid module, they just had to throw in this, too.

It's ridiculous. Why anyone would write more than what the question asked for in the first place, and even going into an exam without an indepth knowledge of at least one related text, is beyond me.
