YAY first one.

I HAVE to say that was a pretty easy test considering how nervous everyone was regarding the environment and the global downturn (a bit it in the essay though) so yeah.. overall i say it was pretty easy, except the multiple choice. i know i went shocking in that haha oh well...i have science in about 1 hour so i gotta start studying for that haha.. hope everyone went well

So easy everyone was saying how they totally aced it, i prob only got couple careless wrong
Haha, i dont think i aced it all but wasn't to hard...im not the best haha

the band cut offs will probably be like 100% for band 6 considering how i think quite a few of the extremely smart would be getting this

Pretty good test all in all. A few crappy short answer/MC questions, but other than that, I liked it.

Very Easy, hardest section was Multis - might have lost a few marks there. SAQ were fair, and the essays were great! Compared to the business paper, the ecos was easy!

no way !.. eco is so much harder then business i reckon..

MC was hard .. so damn tricky man..

n some of the short answer was like so unclear n abit strange .. unlike business huh ..
but generally i m happy with the long response. =[ screwed MC and some of the short answer though..

hopefully a raw 74 may good enough to get a band 5.. seriously

Eco is common knowledge, business is the syllabus. I always find eco papers easier then business ones...

MC was a little hard, but not over the top. Short answers were piss easy. Q25 was nice and easy, and I wasn't prepared for 27 but don't think I done too badly.

Hopefully 90+ raw.

Yeah MC was much harder than in previous years, SAQ was ok, even if there were some left field parts in it, and the essays were ridiculously easy.

85 raw should be the band 6 cut-off.

same mc as ANandDNA except...
12. C
19. A
LOl yeh 12.c is right i didnt know if a higher hdi was good or bad :(

um yeh 19 i had problems with, but the level of unemployment would be the same and the labour force would be smaller. Thus unemployment rate would be higher .

for instance 1/3 < 1/2

is u/e rate unemployed /labour force :S

i got real confused in the exam

\i thought 19 was D..because there would be no change in unemployment because they are not seeking for work..?? isn't unemployment people who are actively seeking for work..

oh damn me if im wrong

I thought the LFPR would change bcuz less people were actively seeking work, but unemployment figures would stay the same bcuz the hidden unemployed aren't counted in unemployment numbers....?

Multiple choice was hard.
Short answer was medium... but I think that's only cause I was so put off from the multiple choice.
Essay's were good questions.. all of them

I FORGOT MY CALCULATOR!!!!!! Had to do everything in my head.. far out that cost me a band 6.. which I would've got too... oh well...
HSC = OVER... good bye and good riddance!!!!
