Oh I'm the same, although sometimes I can be lazy and just wonder aimlessly for hours. What books were you looking at? With the whole Masterchef craze on TV cooking books are soo popular!
Also, when buying books are you really picky about the cover design? Do you like getting a series of books, say the Penguin Classics with all the same covers or you don't care?

I was browsing....the Twilight series. Yes the shame, but wanted to see what all the hype was about. I can't believe people idolise such unhealthy relationships Meyer's language could be much more original. I mean, why does it take the first 200 or whatever it is pages of Twilight to describe Edward's perfect chest, or the first 100 pages of New Moon to establish the fact Bella has a hole in her heart and literally can't live without him?

I like to get a series of books all with the same covers. That's why I don't like the Harry Potter series we have at home, because half of them have full-cover images, and half of them don't (they're framed by those little stars which I don't like, especially as I grew up with the full-cover images). What about you?

I'm the same. I want to get some classic Penguin books but I'm afraid because some will come from the UK and US, the covers will be different and I DON'T WANT THAT! On Twilight, I'm the same, haven't got into it, but you're right, the irrelevant detail is just stupid!
