It is because in Islam, in a marriage, if the wife has a job it is her right to choose whether she spends her money on anybody but herself. She has no obligation to pay for any expenses, and if she wants to spend her entire salary on, say, chocolate, she is allowed.

However, a male, if he chooses to marry, MUST agree to spend and provide for both his wife AND children unlike the wife who can spend her money as she wishes. Therefore, a man has considerably more expenses to take care of which is why he gets more inheritance.

No it isn't. In a marriage, both the husband and wife have different roles and responsibilities. That's a fact, whether you're muslim or not. Is it fair that the female has to be pregnant with her child for nine months, then give birth but at the same time she is obligated to provide for her family? Um. That's not what I said. Islamically, a woman is not worth half as much as a man. Islam actually promotes equality between the sexes, as Allah repeatedly states in the Quran, that a muslim enters heaven based on their piety, and not anything else.

Your religion can say that homosexuality condemns someone if you like.
