No, you stay there overnight and board with other kidsHmm, yeah maybe.
I wonder when the first residentials are.
And you know how they say it's a two day thing.
Does it mean we actually stay there overnight?
Or is it just like, go there, go home, go there again?
YOu would fly, and BOS reimburses you, I'm pretty sure. No, you stay there overnight and board with other kids
I know I would want that. I live 5 1/2 hours north of Sydney (City Central) by car on a regular traffic day.
Really? ^_^ I have never been on a plane before ... >_>YOu would fly, and BOS reimburses you, I'm pretty sure.
Congrats to all who got in. I did cosmology, and it was an invaluable experience.

but seriously cosmology kicks ass esp. the foods during camp & badminton lesson with the professor
In cosmo the cohort met at Central station and we bussed it to Coonabarabran for Res 1 and the retreat site for res 2. I'm not sure where philo goes.So how do we get to the residentials, by plane? and do we go by ourselves or has the board of studies set up something for us?
I spoke to someone from BOS about it. Things are happening to replace them, though the ideas which they had (quite excellent ones imho) haven't gone down too well with Uni's/Not sure where they met, but the residentials last year were held over a single weekend staying over saturday night with the option of staying there friday night to make things easier. Apparently they flew a kid in from Nimbin last year, with all costs paid.
Last year the mid january package included all the reading for the core modules. They give you the elective stuff later on.
No one had better drop out this year! Please don't let this be the last year of the distinction courses.
You'll get over it soon enough. I was intimidated too.Haha, I think I'd be quite... intimidated by people there.
