1) What is the electrolyte made of in the dry cell (different textbooks have so many different types :S)

2) What is the anode and cathode composed of in the button cell?

3) What is cathode reaction, anode reaction and overall reaction for the silver button cell. (again, textbooks have different equations)

Thanks for the help.

For question one - study-freak (who got 99.95 ATAR) recommends that you trust Jacaranda Chemistry.

LOL actually,
for those batteries (which were exactly the ones I used for HSC Chem),
Jacaranda Chemistry seemed the most reliable (I figured it out by comparing to various internet sources, etc).

To be honest - I hated how different textbooks had different information for the dry cell. That's why I switched over to lead acid. :p
