Hey,
Im currently doing 4unit but i stuffed up real bad in my complex number test, 25% (10/40) and yeah im last in the class. :burn:

My teacher recommended that only students with 75+% to continue on with 4unit and only 2 students in my class bearly made it over that. The rest was in the range of (11 - 19) out of 40. There is about only 17 students in my class.
I was wondering should i keep 4unit or not.

I find that complex number is really hard compared to curve sketching, conics and inequalities(harder 3U) in which i did them in tutor.

Please advise should i keep or drop.

Thanks.

How did you go compared to the rest of the class with the other three topics?

There's really no harm in keeping it at the moment. It's still early days, and I'm guessing that first test was worth maybe 10-15%? Small potatoes. But do try and work harder. :)

I'd keep 'em and work harder. As Aerath said, it's still too early to drop :)

And you find curve sketching hard? Try going through the examples in books and follow the steps - you probably just have been dodgily ^^

Keep it for the time being... It's early days and hard to tell whether you're good at it or not. Just wait until the next assessment task.

Well, I was the lowest mark but the average was 15 and I did try but I think I was just tired on day because test started at 8:00 am.

Thanks for the comments tho, I'll stick to 4Unit and hope this test doesn't stop me from doing 4Unit. :haha:

Thanks for your time.

Put it this way.

i didnt try
i never studied for it. well maybe did practice exams before the exam.
never used my text books
listened in class
only understood complex numbers, graphs, polynomials, conics intergration volumes
the rest could have been writtin in french and i would still have no idea
especially mechanics

my rank was 2nd last which pulled me down
i scored 80 in the exam and 75 assesment
IT SCALES SOMETHING CHRONIC atar flew upwards =)
