Because willfully trying to be androgynous to address some sort of gender-based issue whilst playing music is a lot more pretentious than a bass player with a beard having fun with his music.Uncharacteristically, the metal photo looks more pretentious than the indie one.
No. Metal is a genre of music, not a group of people.so metal = mad homosexuals who suck dick 24/7?
It's true, that Jag is tasty... it's prob a reissue though.lol that's unfair man but the guy in the dress has what looks like a 65 fender jaguar so that's a plus for me

But it can also refer to the culture. As can many other 'music' terms.No. Metal is a genre of music, not a group of people.
Well you cut me deep, man.Just talking about the photo.
Ok, cool man. Thanks for your insight, really helped spur along the thread.any band which tries too hard to be indie or metal is shit
Wunderbar.Never my intention. My intentions were good.

I'm fairly sure Fender either ages (somehow) or dyes the headstock woods, and any other exposed wood, on the reissues to give them that vintage look. Either that or it is in fact a real '65 which he killed an old lady for, thus explaining his attire.maybe, the the tinted maple looks too dark to be one though. wouldn't be uncommon for nobodies to have vintage jags since max they go around for 5 grand
yeah they do, but it's never that dark. bu the rest of the body looks in good condition so you're probably rightI'm fairly sure Fender either ages (somehow) or dyes the headstock woods, and any other exposed wood, on the reissues to give them that vintage look.
