Homosexuality is not a lifestyle choice, you fucktard.I dont believe we should charge people money for their lifestyle choices. Its their choice to be obese. If we do this we might as well charge people for being homosexual or of a specific religion.
Yea but some families might still be struggling under debt or other costs, like paying for children's education or medical bills for a sick family member who underwent surgery or w/e.Only fat people in households with an income over say, $30 000 should be taxed. They are the only people who can afford fruit and vege every week.
If you're going down that route might a better strategy be to place a little bit of excise on foods that are really bad for you, sort of like how the government taxes smoking and alcohol (though definately not to that extent). If something has to be done, better method would be to grant a small subsidy for healthy foods.
It doesn't seem fair that my taxes pay for their increased healthcare requirements or for their lapband surgeryPro:
-Fat peoplewould be encouraged to exercise/stay skinny, this would mean a helthier and happier australia

-it doesnt seem fair

That's not really a very good idea. This isn't 1984, the book. We don't want eugenics and control of peoples' bodies.Have a tax on high body fat percentage? say 1000$ for every percent above 23 for women and 21 for men? and everybody's health insurance requires them to go for a medical test once a year, so your body fat percentage could be measured then?
though then again people will just exercise for 3 months leading to the test and grow fat after and then exercise again 3 months before the next test.. well at least we'll be healthy for 3 months in a year as opposed to no months.
