hmm, i would start it by turning 8cos^4 x into 8cos^2 x cos^2 x [which you can turn one of the cos^2 x into 1-sin^2 x]

and then if you expand that out, the -8cox^2 x should cancel out

hmm, i'm still stuck >.<

i got up to
-3x +2 sin[2x] = 4S(1-2 cos[2x] + cos^2[2x])
