I honestly don't have high hopes for the new guy, but then again I can't wait for the new season.

PS- They will never make the Doctor ginger, too many people hate gingers

I just saw the new episode with Matt Smith- it was pretty good. Good to see that he attracted as many viewers as David Tennant did when he started.

But I don't like the new companion, Amy Pond. At least, when she speaks. Her accent is annoying- like a bad mixture of American and Scottish.

I want to see when the Doctor fires a gun...

I liked it. Especially the part where the Atraxxi figure out who the Doctor is and how many alien races he's fucked over time and time again.

Matt Smith was good. Amy Pond, I liked as well. Although I don't see the point of her profession being a kissogram? That and all the discrete porno references as well with that random guy in his room? Seemed homoerotic to me for some reason?

Mmm, a lot of people chucked a psych about her profession and what she wore. I couldn't see the point, either, but I didn't care.
Even though it is a 'family-orientated' show, I quite liked how they're 'sexying' up DW (as it were).
Just as long as doesn't stoop down to Sarah-Jane Chronicles levels of appropriate TV for children...if that makes sense...

Actually, yeah, I'm trying to paint a portrait of him at the moment and it's not going so well. Mainly because of his smile though.
But I think he's gorgeous.

You can skip ahead a week and press a little reminder on your remote that will make the channel that DW is on automatically come onto the screen...just so's when the 18th comes around, I won't forget.

Funnily enough, I just realised there's over a week, so I just put a reminder on my phone
