If music died in 1992, then why are artists still producing songs?

Lol. But really, what you should be saying is that in 1992, the pop scene changed for the worse. Music in no way has died, you just need to be resourceful and go look for good bands/genres yourself, not sit there listening to music pre 1992, comparing it to the stuff in the pop charts and complaining.

The pop charts just demonstrate how much more immature and (often, not always) stupid society has gotten today.

There are plenty of good artists out there across all genres nowadays, just not so much in the public eye.

Our eco teacher constantly tells us that music died after the 80s (although he still likes powderfinger).

how can you say music died, when fantastic artists such as soulja boy exist. sure sometimes he mispronounces a few words, but his songs are superman... dont hate on him just coz hes a self made millionaire at the age of 17. and what about bieber? have you ever heard a male voice as unique as his? he is going to revolutionize the industry yo.

music in the 80s was like, fucking instruments. and shitty bands and shit. who wants to hear those pieces of shit, when theres t-pain who can autotune your mom's nagging and make it sound awesome.
