Hi, I am going to do

Adv English 2 units
Maths ext1 3 units
Physics 2 units
Sen. science 2 units
Chemistry 2 units

That's a total of 11 units.

My question is: If I score the lowest in Chemistry which is a 2 units subject, how will the top 10 units be calculated?

Thanks

you cant do senior science if you do anyother science
That's true for Prelim. only. You can do Senior science and other science subjects at the same time in HSC year (Year12).

But that's not the main point. Just how the best 10 units is calculated out of 11 if the worst performing subject is a 2-units subject?

every 2 unit subject gives u a mark out of 50

then u have an aggregate out of 500 which is ranked and becomes ur ATAR

so maybe if ur scaled aggregate is 36/50 in chemistry

and say 23/25 in mx1

they can count 18/25 + 23/25 = 41/50

or something like that

Is it every unit carry a mark of 50? Not 2 units? An aggregate of 500 out of 10 units, right?
