posted this in the UNSW section but meh. is there any advantage of making a draft timetable before accepting an offer tonight? and if so how do i do it?

why is everyone so keen to make timetables so early? aren't you given a default one?

thanks deterministic. Do you know if there is one for usyd though?
to my knowledge the central timetable unit for usyd is only available once you have a unikey account, which is after enrolment.
However depending on what you are doing, the faculty websites may have timetables for individual subjects (ie. showing when that subject has lectures/tutorials). eg. Most Arts units have the lecture/tutorial times on the faculty/department website. The same for law (can download a document). I am not sure about other faculties though- I would check the faculty/department website.
