Hey just wondering what we're supposed to write on for uni lectures. I'm assuming no one uses plain old exercise books (they remind me too much of my school days) so ppl will generally be using cardboard covered notebooks or lecture pads right?

Lecture pads for lectures sound nice and logical.

good question. i also wanted to ask this. i was leading more towards the lecture pads, those yellow binded ones. forgot the name of the brand, but i think they are very popular.

Tbh really doesn't matter. People use all sorts of things. Lecture pads, normal school style books, laptops, etc.. I personally like to write on tissues.

Just use a lecture pad. I use the perforated ones with punched holes and then tear them out and put them in a folder. Well when I am organised that's what i do . . . In theory.

I'll just be using A5 notebooks which have plenty of room to draw and write.

I got them too. They have cream paper... omnomnomnom. Took me AGES to find them too.

Edit: They are brand 'Ditto' and have a strap, and come in black or red cover. They look a little like moleskine in a way, and have a fabric-like covering on the cardboard cover. Cream 80gsm paper.

I just sit next to a random person each class and ask if I can borrow some paper.

I write on loose pages and compile them in a folder. For ma IT peeps, this is similar to using a list over an array.

Music books obviously, they have those thin 5 lines to help you position your letters appropriately

This is exactly how I got through year 12, except I pushed it a bit further and asked for a pen too.
